A father-daughter relationship is one of the most beautiful relationships that God has created.

This is my first article for this blog. In this piece, the focus is not on The Closer Life, which pertains to couples and their relationships 💑, but rather on an incident involving a father and daughter 👨‍👧 that occurred yesterday.

Yesterday, as I was traveling on the Delhi Metro, I found myself standing in the middle of the metro gate. In front of me, a father and daughter stood opposite, with respective ages of 44 and 16. The father was engrossed in a phone call, while his daughter stood beside him.

The metro was crowded, and during its stops, the pushing and shaking of the crowd led everyone to grab onto any available metro parts for safety. Despite her attempts, the daughter, being of shorter stature, struggled to secure a hold on anything else.

As the metro continued its journey, the girl appeared visibly scared, seemingly experiencing metro travel for the first time. Despite witnessing her distress for over 15 minutes, the father, engrossed in his call, did not intervene.

In a corner of the metro gate, a gentleman observed the girl's fear and gestured for her to take his place. However, the father, still on the call, occupied the spot instead. Observing this, another gentleman later vacated his seat, inviting the girl to sit. Her relief was evident from her facial expression.

This situation prompts reflection on the dynamics of the father-daughter relationship. Despite being her father, he seemed oblivious to her discomfort, while other commuters extended kindness towards the girl. It raises questions about the level of consideration and care within the father-daughter bond.

While it is understood that he is her father and has played a role in raising her, it is crucial for him to be mindful of these small yet significant aspects of their relationship. Acknowledging and addressing such situations can contribute to a more nurturing and supportive connection between parent and child.

A father can play dress up with his daughter and at the same time play a super hero to protect her from all evil. He is the one who nurtures and guides her through every defining moment of her life...

I think my mom put it best. She said, ‘Little girls soften their daddy’s hearts. 

No one is able to make the female a queen except her father. 

The reason why daughters love their Dad the most is…that there is at least one man in the world who will never hurt her.
